    Hi guys.. thinking of heading away for few days come April time with a 3 & 2 yr old.. anyone any recommendations for Spain Portugal for self catering something with two bedrooms? Any feedback or tips appreciated!

    Have a look at Clever Details rental agency in Vilamoura, Portugal. We used them this year and the apartment was fabulous, they did the airport transfers (less than 30 mins), 5 mins walk to port so once you arrive you don’t need a car until you’re going back to the airport. Kind of expensive eating out , but with the kids we weren’t exactly having long booze 4 course dinners so didn’t work out too bad!

    One thing to keep in mind is whether pools would be warm enough in Spain and Portugal that time of year. It was a few years ago but we went one April to the costa del sol and pools were freezing! Kids would have blue lips but refuse to get out 😀
