He may have been officially champion for six months but he only became the real champion tonight after beating McGregor.

With all due respect that's complete bull****.

Sets the sport back years just when people were taking it serious

People took the sport plenty serious before the McGregor brigade arrived. It wasn’t just starting to be taken seriously.

You realise the sport existed before Conor? It was still pretty damn popular.

Might have to be in Russia if it does happen! I think he might be done now though.

Not nice to see but are we completely forgetting McGregor threw a hand truck through a bus window not caring who it hit? McGregor picked the wrong fight he got mauled

Did McGregor look 100% to you guys from the off?

Besides the arrogant game plan 😀

McG had so much time on the feet. Showed some good yet brief glimpses of defensive grappling and Khabib genuinely looked like he was losing steam in round 3 but Conor didn't respect him on the feet at all and easily let himself be backed into the cage. His shots didn't seem to have pop on them, or maybe Khabib just rolled with them well. A disappointing sub par striking performance from him.

So, any idea what Dillon Danis in particular did or said to provoke Khabib into jumping out?

Difference was Conor just did it for show be knew what he was doing and was in control khabib just lost his head.

Was Conor doing it for show when he threw a 10kg metal trolley at a bus?

They're both idiots at this stage.

Im not sure the people here realize how bad this is for the sport, Dana, will not be happy, you dont want this sh1t, there will be absolute war in vegas tonight.

Those saying dana lapping it up, couldnt be further from the truth, he has worked tirelessly to get the scumbag "cage fighter" image away from the sport, went to every state and reporter in the country to have it taken seriously and respected, and educated them on the merits of mma, he has spent so long and has done, to his credit, his level best to get the image of the sport right, which is why you see so much respect from fighters in there.

As someone said earlier, tonight has set the sport back years, their biggest event in history. It is a serious shame it ended the way it did.

I cant see him pulling it off. He was dominated by khabib's ground game.

Conor got dropped on the feet. He lost this fight in all areas.

Yeah he lost the head there for sure! At that point he just thought he was untouchable and turns out he was probably right.

I am a genuine fan of Conor’s and have been for a long long but if Khabib had gotten off that bus that time, McGregor and his mates would have done a lot worse to him than a sucker punch.

I’m not condoning the events post fight in any way but you reap what you sow.

It will be Diaz 3 after this.
    Conor wont fancy Khabib again

This is spot on, biggest win of his career in possibly the biggest ppv and this happens. Mental.

Love or hate Conor anyone that doesn’t think that’s an embarrassment for the sport we love is an idiot.

    Disgraceful scenes.

    Bus incident times a million.

Life ban for him and his team.

Khabib must have been holding so much in all week, he did well to do so - it obviously wasn't a couple of words that set him off there.

He has risked so much with that, risking not even fighting stateside again.

McGregor done now. at least in the 1st diaz fight mcgregor hurt him. McGregor didnt lay a finger on khabib. No round 2 coming

Anybody defending Khabib here needs a long hard look at thems loves. Imagine if Conor did the same.

What about does who defended Conor after the bus incident? was that not worse? or is it because he's Irish and a legend it's okay?

Fairly sure you don’t get sarcasm.

Dillon had words with khabibs corner on side of cage after stoppage khabib threw gum shield and danis stepped up then jt exploded.

Khabib teammate then wnet over cage to conor. Scumbaggery of the highest order. Place is mental
