7 seater vw toran

    Hi all,
    Posting here and not in car section. Finally managed to convince my husband to buy a 7 seater ;)
    Test drove the touran
    today.....Does anyone have one? If so are they good for 3 car seats across the back?
    Saw the opel zafira had a narrower middle seat!

    Are you in the rearfacing Ireland Facebook group? They have files with cars with 3 seats across. I just checked and there are 3 different people with various combinations with 3 across in their Tourans.

    We've a touran and 3 seats across the back seat and 1 high back booster in the boot seats. No problems with size.

    It's a lovely car to drive as well!

    Touran more flexible than the Zafira, as its 3 separate seats v one long bench type.

    Plus (imho) the VW is a much safer buy than an Opel.

    OH won’t entertain the new 5008 or grand c4 picasso!!!
    Originally looked at a secondhand touran 2015 but then saw the new model on the courtyard.....looks alot nicer! Can’t believe how much the depreciate though in comparison to a golf! We plan on keeping it for ages anyway!
    Only went to one garage so far am going to another tomorrow who have pre registrated ones 2018 so will see what deal they are giving me! ;)

    The Ford Galaxy is a great car too.
    The older Touran was a 7 seater but the boot seats were only occasional seats and not full size.

    Ford SMax here.Gem of a car.Three individual rear seats, each has isofix.It was a "if we HAVE to buy a seven seater, this is is" type of buy,we will keep it for years anyway.
