Doesn't that happen quite commonly though? The licenses fluctuate and shows disappear briefly before reappearing? Seem to recall the same thing happened a bunch of BBC shows recently enough...

The third season of Inside No. 9 was very disappointing. Watched the six episodes over the last couple of days and there was no standouts like there was with the previous two seasons.

I was looking back to see could I find the post but its too hard. looking for a post which recommended an English made series or mini-series. It's hard to explain but the people who liked it said it was a warm nice tv. The clip I saw had a few lads sitting in a field beside a tree.

Not the best information to trace a recommendation but I am sure someone will know what I am on about

This might be worth its own thread in the tv forum.

Netflix will be doing an interactive episode in the next season of Black Mirror.

That could lead to some interesting discussions.

Wonder.. Starring Owen Wilson and Julia Robertson is a lovely little movie.

They're the parents of a child that was born with facial abnormalities and the film is about the young lads difficulties starting school.

    10/10

Watched this with the kids at the wk end, lovely family movie and children can learn a bit from it too

My wife is a teacher & read the book of this to her class about 4-5 years ago. They absolutely loved it. If the movie captures any of the message of the book then I'd say its a very emotional family watch alright

Watched Nappily Ever after, really nice film with a good message.

Trying to look perfect only makes you miserable and is exhausting, when the main character realized that she was so much more happy.

Checked out that Joe Rogan special,
he's a poor man's Bill Burr with a copycat delivery style and craven back pedalling on anything remotely risque he comes out with, like he doesn't want to offend anyone. Bring back Bill!

I turned it off halfway through. I thought it was absolutely dreadful. The script was painfully cliched and the acting was beyond woeful.

I can look beyond bad acting if I like the story. Don’t know what was cliched about it, not like the usual crap romcom films where the story is so predictable.

It's the 'person obsessed with their looks discovers that true beauty really comes from inside and that they had the confidence they needed along' story that is a trope of children and teen movies for many a year. It's retold in Nappily Ever After with all the subtlety of a brick to the face with a script that was horrendously clunky, delivered by actors who'd give wood a bad name.
