Wastewater Pumping Station

    Hello,

    I'm in the planning stage of building. My house will be lower than the Mains Sewage.

    Irish water said I will need a Wastewater pumping station.

    What are peoples experience with these?
    How far and high can they pump?

    Or would it be better to try and get my own wastewater treatment system?

    4 is not an issue: what is the lift/distance involved
    5: you may not get permission for it, as main sewer is available

    Have you done a pre-connection to Irish Water?
    Chances are you will have to form a header manhole depending on the circumstance. They (IW) are currently reviewing this procedure, told will have more info next week as have a few of them going to/on site.

    As above ^^^, your head will determine the size/type/cost of pump required. Get level of mains and your last manhole invert on site and send to pump companies, they will do all calcs for you with costings etc...

    Irish water connection 7k
    Tank with pumping station 4k
    Installation costs ? Do u need to close road?
