Is there a mechanism where I can be alerted if I come close to breaching the 1TB FUP cap during a month? Say, if I go over 900GB?

    Hi there corkalien

Thank you so much for getting in touch. Unfortunately there is no notification but you can track your usage through your "my eir" account

    Thanks Kyle.

Would you not agree that it's far from ideal asking high data users to check "my eir" constantly? I was charged €100 on top of my bill earlier in the year for extra data usage and the first I knew about it was when I got my bill.

    @ Kyle ,

The usage monitor on the eir site is useless .

It is constantly 48 hours behind and is not fit for purpose .

See my two posts in another thread (which include screenshots ) -
