Delay in completing Windows clean up W. 10 (V.1803)

    Why does it take 20 min + to complete "Windows Clean Up" system files ? Running W.10 with SSD. 2 Gig of Win updates, 500Mb of logs etc. What is happening under the hood here ?

    It is tiworker doing is thing. With older OS's windows updates would build up and use up a lot of space whereas with Windows 10 there is some auto tidy-up that happened after updates are complete.

    If performance is impacted you can set priority of tiworker.exe to below normal in task manager.

    Thanks for that, its labeled as "delete files" however its the "tidy up" I'm curious about. No issues just a desire to learn!!
