Hi just looking for some advice.

I was in a car accident last year, the insuramce company for the other driver made an offer in August, which my solicitor advised me to decline and to take it to the personal injuries board, so I went ahead with that.

I'm just wondering does anybody know how long it takes for the p.i.b to come back to me now or for the case to be settled?

There is no on going injuries or anything, but I have quiet a few bills to pay from the time of the accident.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Many thanks.

It can take up to 9 months to get an assessment, which either side can then reject and you're then down the litigation/negotiation route

Oh wow I didn't think it would take 9 months, I was thinking around 3-5.
    Thank you for your reply!
