Automatically deleting (ie sending files to Recycling bin) in windows?

Everytime one deletes a file in windows the usual promt of 'are you sure you want to send this file to the recycling bin?' appears. My question is , is there a way to switch off this prompt and send the file directly to the bin everytime? Thanks!

Right click on Recycle Bin->Properties then Uncheck the 'Display delete confirmation' box.

If you turn off delete confirmation on recycle bin - you will accidentally delete those precious files - Sod's law

Shift-Deleting as you suggest bypasses the recycle bin altogether whereas unchecking the confirmation box just bypasses the message, they still go into the recycle bin as Pigman asked.

With your solution, the files instantly become unrecoverable except with the aid of an undelete tool.
