How so Riona. Been a long day so apologies if I'm not following properly.

Clodagh said Mary had to choose between liking herself or teagan. Was that not the blackmail power? If not it was a lie to protect the real blackmail
    Power.

So who killed clodagh with poison?

Irene can be sent away from the backroom. When sent way she will not be able to contact the villains but she still must act in their interest, when sent away she will be seen as Scotland yard officer to any peeks or deaths and also parity counts, she can be recalled into the backroom at any stage but this can only be done once in which she will then remain in the backroom as a villain. Recalling Irene into the backroom has a 24hr timer from request.

Can't contact the villains. That's a bit passive in terms of wolf power. I could see a hidden ability of being able to message villagers being available while she is afk.

True. Not sure exactly if it works that way each time though.

If wini is a wolf, I'm thinking it's eurus or irene.

If shes Eurus or Irene, a peek kills her, cause returning as an NRV exposes the story. The story falls apart with a seer peek IF shes lying.

I wouldn't put it past Eurus as a character to have a power that lets her send manipulative messages. It fits what we can see of her power.

    Guessing it's Jeff.

Well for me nothing has changed. All that is confirmed again is that he can send messages. That's it.

His reasoning and choices for recipients is all over the place. He needs to be checked. Would he be immune to checking somehow? Is he banking on that and that's why he is so flippant?

This doesn't clear me, doesn't clear you, nor the other two. We still need to do that somehow!

What if you are still alive in 12 hours?

That will be 4 posters Wini did that to who came through it to tell the tale. Either she would be telling the truth and is village, or this would be a terrible wolf power/play. No?

Btw I'd also welcome a check of Wini at this point. It could potentially clear me, Orla, Riona, Wini and now Gabriel, up to 5 villagers.

If you surviving tomorrow still does nothing to push this on, well what else do we do but ask for her to be peeked? Lynch her?

If she comes back legit we have a 4 or 5 person core.

I thought that but what’s this then

Eurus acts as a double parity count for the Werewolves of London

So she can send messages and count as two ?

    From OP:

Charles Augustus Magnussen – The Napoleon of blackmail
Charles is a very powerful individual and has the option to blackmail another player at a time of his choosing.

Jeff Hope - "It's not chance, Mr Holmes, it's chess. It's a game of chess."
Paid by Moriarty for his services, Jeff has a unique killing style

Assuming Charles blackmailed Mary Watson and Jeff killed John Watson

Probably. Her being alive doesn't do anything per se. We still need to verify. Seer seems easiest way. Wouldn't have to kill anyone to find out. Priest would be only other alternative. Would have to kill Winnie to find out there.

Uh....what? That's NOT what the power has been described as.
If Gabby is evil, then WINI dies. Right?

D4 reveals for one of those would be acceptable, Imo.

We only have Wini's word for that though.

And Orla, Riona and Eva's word, but their word comes from Wini to start with.

Honestly, I'm confused as fúck. I'm heading to bed. I'll probably be dreaming of notes and tables and stuff. Night!

Just throwing out a few strategies

Tomorrow Winnie sends the letter to the second name on the lynch list tonight.

If Sherlock is around he could peak all three of me Eva and Orla as a group. Assuming we all come up clear (and no wolf can get past his powers) then that could clear us and put the doubts to bed if he came out tomorrow after Jeff’s kill. With potentially a BG and jailer we could have a massive 6+ village core along with whoever else Sherlock knows about.

We could easily get another day out of Sherlock but of course the risk is the jailer is dead.

Sherlock can pm mods and ask if any wolf gets past his peaks. And ask if Mycroft shows up bad aswell cause that’s a waste of time if he does.

    It’s a suggestion as a strategy.

Nice to see some of my strategies being considered ....

Someone got a note this morning, right? The note sending power defo reset with the lynch, NOT the munches, right?

We know Winnie can send notes...

I can also confirm it was nice to get the note from what felt like a friend.... Until Winnie said it was effectively a suicide note cause she thought I was bad...

That’s the only facts I can confirm with confidence...

Yeah. Surely other goodies would wanna come forward to be possibly confirmed in future. Any of the low posters under heat for example.

    Holly, Steve, Isla, Nigel.

Should have snapped his hand off.

Yeah sure, but if we're going to look at these players, we also have to look at if they bought Wini's story in the first place. I don't think Isla did for example, so why should someone like that be jumping through hoops for Wini? Especially if some villagers would have believed it meant nothing anyway even if they did jump through those hoops.

It would have been a way for Liam or someone somewhat supportive of Wini to step up, yes, but not every player.

I do, but don't worry Conor, I sometimes get the same feeling about my own posts, about the OP in games, about many things like that in WW.

I fear this is where my lack of Sherlock Holmes knowledge and/or knowledge of very complex roles comes back to bite me in the ass.

I know nothing about Eurus beyond what was in the OP - Something about controlling the mind and double count in a parity situation. I did read your last post on that, but didn't fully understand at the time.

Right, so mind control, how does tie in to what Wini has done or is doing?

I don't see mind control giving a message sending ability tbh.

I think it more likely it may be, if Winnie is bad and not just cuckoo, as was mentioned above - Irene sending messages as an NRV.

So in that case she needs to be peeked and if she's NRV, or anything else than she claims (Janine), then she's a wolf.

Eurus in Sherlock is able to manipulate people. If Wini is Eurus she knows who the goodies are and I assume who Irene is too. So she manipulates villagers into believing in her being good by sending them notes and saying that she'll die if they are wolves...when she doesn't die, they, knowing they are playing for team good, believe her.

Your post seemed to be suggesting that If gabby was bad and got the note, Gabby would die.

Anyway a power that would reset on lynch would actually be a point into the "Wini is telling the truth" column.

Thank you Conor. I have to say though, that seems awfully OP for one wolf to have on a team of apparently powered wolves. I would be more inclined to go with what Orla suggested above about Irene sending PMs as NRV if we're looking how Wini could be bad.

Not shooting down your theory, just that it seems really OP to me when described as that, on top of the parity thing Eurus has too.

Also...Orla proposes Wini could be just a bit...damaged in her delivery. (cuckoo :pac:) I hope this is the case, otherwise something is extremely fúcky for the village.

All these PMs from a wolf to players, if Wini is a wolf, something foul is afoot.

    We need her peeked.

Oh right, no I definitely didn't mean to imply that.

Was just basically asking Gabriel at what point do we start taking Wini's claim seriously? if Gabriel gets 'cleared' and survives just like me, Orla and Riona, what then?

I don't mind my theory being shot down, I just want people to consider all scenarios. I can actually see your point about the wolves being overpowered but this has been a crazy game.
