Seems like a 'late 2019' start at the earliest. Maybe not until 2020. Was hoping it would be underway by now myself. It seems quite a dragged out process for a key project. All going well they are looking at 2022 completion.

It was held up for 3 years in the high court. After that funding had to be approved. Clare CC got €500k this year for CPOs and that process is ongoing. DTTAS only approved full funding for the build in January as part of the capital plan. Currently it's with RPS Consultants who are bringing it through the detailed design and Tender process.
