Brilliant they have just launched it. It has chromecast too.

60 second ad before they broadcast. They should follow All4 example with 10sec ads.

I'm going to be optimistic and assume Connacht will be shown live. Replaying a game over a live broadcast when the pitch was all games live would be farcical.

They didnt show all games live last weekend so all games live is not happeneing on Eir.

Have gone onto Pro 14 Youtube website but can't find any highlights of past weekend games just old videos. This site was very useful last season if you missed any of the matches on TV. Anyone know what's happened as games were uploaded before the weekend was over on this website last season?

They have the Irish Autumn Internationals in the UK, plus Super Rugby, Top 14, and Rugby Championship.

Uk residents pay £10 pm for Premier Sports. Take the Pro14 out and Premier is an absolute bag of shiiiite. Whether it's good value is very, very questionable.

In Ireland, you get the Eir Sports pack which includes BT Sport, so Champions Cup, English rugby and the other sports are available.

Those of us getting Eir sport as part of our broadband are getting a phenomenal deal. People are always going to continue to steal it because that's the way of things.

They will show the Connacht game live, relax.
I suspect the free eir sports with eir broadband will come to an end in the near future, the same as BT did in the UK.

But yea, right now people in Ireland get a way better deal.

There’s a vicious, and I have to stress completely unconfirmed rumour, that Channel 4 are about to pick up the UK rights to Ireland’s autumn internationals.

Read that on another forum a few days ago as well.

I keep hearing an avertisement on the radio for Eir Sports coverage of the Pro14 and they mention that they are free to air on Sky and also live streamed on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube! I could find the live stream on Twitter but couldn't seem to find the live stream on YouTube on Friday night for the Leinster game and would love to get this as I have YouTube on my TV - did anyone manage to watch any of the games on YouTube?

About time that everyone on the island has equitable access to our international team's t.v. appearances. Sky / R.T.E.(?) in the R.o.I and C4 in U.K. sounds good...and more dosh in the coffers.

How are you finding eir vision for watching?
I see they have an offer of €50 p/m at the monent for broadband and tv. It does increase substantially after 12 months but you can cancel then as your contract is up.

Just saw this. I'm finding eir vision a breath of fresh air - I've had VM for 13 years, solid service but always thought horizon was awful. The interface on Eirvision is so much nicer, its very zippy and browsing what's on other channels is fast. The only channels missing are the sky bouquet of channels, but they're crap anyway. Definitely less bells and whistles with Eir (catch up tv, play from start, way fewer hd channels etc) but the horizon implementation is so bad that those functions were rarely used.

Eir coupled with a fta satellite feed to the TV works for me, delighted to relegate the android box to dormant for this season anyway!

Should have switched two years ago!

Watched a ridiculous amount of rugby on RugbyPass over the weekend. Bit of a blip in that the Ulster game wouldn't stream for about the first 30 mins. They appear to have all the Pro14 games which they didn't last season. Highly recommend it.

I use Getflix to pretend I'm in Singapore.

Can you use the same method to signup, or do you have to have be really located abroad?
What about irish cc card or visa?

I've always used it from Ireland. You have to be in 'Singapore' (or whatever) to start a stream and that's it.

While we’re throwing general TV rights news in here, Ireland’s home 2019 RWC warm up games v Wales and v Italy will be live on RTE.

I'd presume it's primarily to target NI viewers and the advertisers they have lined up have made it worth the cash.
