    2006 BMW 3 Series 2.0 M Sport - 2012 until 2015

GTI is by far the best of them, but still have a soft spot for the Caddy & E90, the latter of which just popped up for sale...

Some nice cars in these lists!

    00 Citroen Saxo 1.1 owned from 07 to 2016
07 Opel Astra OPC from 2016 to now
(Parked up off road until back from travelling)

That's a short history! I have no plans to change from the OPC at the moment, it's basically only good at going fast in a straight line but I still love it, the gearbox is a disaster though!

    1998 Renault Laguna 1.8
    2000 BMW 320D
    1995 Land Rover Discovery
    2005 Land Rover Freelander TD4
1978 Range Rover (3.5 mazda engine, still regret ever having got rid of this :( and will definitely have another, although I'll miss the mazda :()
1988 Defender 110 (never owned anything so uncomfortable to drive that put such a smile on your face, but in the end both financial needs and the need to be able to both see where I'm going and overtake stuff every so often won out)
1998 Range Rover 2.5 (parked up for the moment :o don't think I'll ever sell it, despite their reputation I think it's fabulous, could do with a wee bit more power though)
2006 Peugeot 407 1.6hdi (Can't fault it in any way, reliable, cheap to run, kinda comfy....but I hate the feckin thing :()

Good bit of overlap in some of those though.

1981 Vauxhall Astra. My father bought it new as a grey market import (would have been a Kadett in Ireland at the time) and I bought it from him in 1990.
1991 Renault Clio. Papa! Nicole (rawr!)
1991 Renault Clio (yes, I bought the same year car but paid extra for an after-market sunroof and electric windows (RN to RX spec IIRC). Young AND dumb...
    1991 Toyota Celica. Best.Car.Ever.
2002* Mk IV Golf (highline with a few toys, heated seats and A/C). First kid arrived, no seatbelts in rear of Celica, so it had to go. I cried.
    2001 320i (E46, 2.2 six cylinder sweet, sweet engine).
2010* Qashqai+2 1.5 daysul, yaawwn (3rd kid, couldn't get all the cr4p I needed in the back seats of the 3 series). Christ, that was dull. I died a little the day I sold my E46.
2012* Qashqai+2 1.6 petter-it-il. Facelifted version meant fancier toys; reversing camera etc. Petrol engine was a bit anemic.
2014* XTrail - to be fair, the best of the Nissans I've had, good space and decent poke for a 1.6D.
    Coming soon : 2016/7 M Sport 330e or X5 xDrive40e.

    * = bought new. Not planning on doing THAT again, unless I win the lotto.

‘99 Focus (Some fond memories of this as it was my first but it was a ball of sh1te. Loads of annoying problems with it)

‘02 Focus - a fair bit better than previous but a bit so so overall. Quality was really iffy in those MK1 Focus’s now that I think back on it.
Looked well though as it was one of the special edition models

‘05 Audi A3 - very disappointing car. An Expensive Golf and like my first Focus it suffered annoying gremlins.

‘07 MKV Golf GTI (a total gem, still remains my favourite today).

    ‘11 Mk6 Golf GTD

‘13 MK7 Golf GTI - great car but I always felt it lacked the fizz of the MK5.

‘15 MK7 Golf R - a total weapon! Got rid for a few reasons, main one being attracting unwelcome late night visitors

    ‘17 BMW 420d GC - current chariot.

In fairness the Mazda is a great family car, bags of space and as it’s petrol it’s ultra reliable unlike its diesel brothers.
