Just on the sphere thing. It says it’s an on thread competition. Could it not be as simple as the mods says it’s competition time, fire out some trivia question and we have to give an answer via pm? First correct answer wins the sphere. It would keep the winner anonymous that way.

Seems likely, if no tasks is a given. Fairly easy to google the answer and see who got there first though which would put a massive target on the players head.

You may be on to something there. That would be fun especially for those who happen to be online at the time, but may be seen as unfair to players not around at the time, so not convinced completely.

The sphere thing could easily be a typical WW task, but since it'll be announced by the mods you won't be analysing everyone's behaviour for possible tasks cause you'll know everyone is doing something to win. In that sense it's not a task, as it's out in the open.
And I bet the won't tell us what we have to do, so it's going to be gifmageddon with a nineteenpocalypse chaser

Wini did say answer by pm, so not really a target

Answer via pm so we wouldn’t know who won. And there’s 4 spheres so 4 comps which could be at different times of the day so that everyone gets a chance to participate.

    Time will tell I suppose.

My reading of the four spheres is they grant great power but have bad consequences, and there's a time limit to us them.

Would there be a fear of knowing who has them? It strikes me that whoever gets them would probably out themselves asap anyway, to get feedback on how best to deal with them, given there's the time limit, right?

In my opinion, the winner of the azure should not come out to seek help on how to use it.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 1,276 ✭✭✭Winifred WW

Crimson - Grants the user a one-off bullet kill. However, upon use they will be barred from any backroom they dwell in for 24 hours. Any decisions they may need to make there are included in that ban.

Azure - This Sphere offers the user a one-off bodyguard protection to place on any other player. However, upon using the Azure Sphere, the user themselves will be unable to take protection from the village bodyguard John Coffey for 24 hours.

Pink - Also known as The Pink Bend, Maerlyn's Grapefruit, its location in the Multiverse was unknown for centuries until showing up in our world here. Use of The Pink Bend will numb any power your target has for 24 hours. 'Power' does not include lynch votes, munch requests or SK kills, as they are a duty. If your target has no power, the Pink Sphere still must get its fill; It will turn back on the user in this case. If neither the user or target have a power, the Sphere will target the next person alphabetically to the original target.

Black - More commonly and dreadfully known as Black Thirteen. The Sphere is said to represent the Dark Tower itself. Use of Black Thirteen will grant the user immunity from death for an entire phase. However, the ferryman must have his price and following this immunity the sphere will return to consume the doomed soul of another selected player.

Probably right in every situation to first consider, the OP. If there are only 3 teams listed in the win conditions you have to assume only 3 teams exist.

    Villagers need to survive
    Wolves kill all
    IT kills losers

    Losers are villagers

I think you are right with this Katie. Can't see the losers being detected as anything else.

If you get crimson, azure or pink and you are roled you wouldn’t want to declare on thread

The winner of all but the Crimson would be wiser to keep schtum I think.

Do the losers appear as Villagers or as losers to the priest?

Why would you not reveal the crimson if you're roled? Are you suggesting there is a joint backroom with some goodies and baddies in it?

Black gets immunity and whomever they select will die instead. Am I reading that right? Wouldn’t this be the one sphere that we could discuss openly and perhaps get consensus on who the target is?

What if you’re the vig and through a sheer stroke of luck we find a baddie that needs taking out. The vig powers would be frozen so if no shot was taken th baddies would know who that was.

Well they'd appear as losers because the priests gets their full role. But losers are a subset of villagers, I think.
