Was never going to play him this GW but I feel justified having him in my squad as I thought he might pop up with a few goals.

Whilst VAR would have ruled that goal out he didn’t actually punch it in or even try and score with his hand.

It was an attempt at a glancing header that accidentally hit his hand.

At least that’s what I think.

Agreed, at best it was a poor attempt at a header. Annoyed as losing dbl CS, not intentional

I'm not so sure. The only worry is that if he doesn't play he could find himself on the fringes for a while.

I know I’ve already said that Mendy has been poor defensively now for 3 games but he’s been really poor today.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets hooked.
