    Hi all,

I was hoping you could help me with my query, since the Law Society has not been very responsive! Considering a European qualified lawyer passes the QLTT tests, should he also go through the 24 month training period? The thing is I am thinking of taking the tests, but I will need sometime to prepare myself, so if the 2 year training period is necessary a few years will pass by the time I get a good job.
    Many thanks!

No you don't have to do the training period, provided that you are eligible to obtain a Certificate of Eligibility and can sit (and pass) the QLTT, you will be able to practise here.
