problem with electric model

    i have built the above kit but it is not working totally right.

    the right hand motor runs fine on its own but when i turn on the left motor the right stops. if i leave the right off and turn on the left it will not work.

    i have checked all the solder points and made sure everything was in the right place and all looks fine.

    im lost for what could be wrong. i have attached two photos.

    any help would be greatly appreciated
