School Teacher Attire

Every year I aim to improve this aspect of my job. I HATE clothes shopping and would love some suggestions re clothing for the coming Autumn. We have an informal clothing approach in our staff (think its part of our charm-nothing inappropriate but quite relaxed) I’d love to make more of an effort but struggle to put a nice look together. I’m 5 7 and hope I still am a size 12 after a completely indulgent Summer. Tia

Great selection of school clothes in Penneys, H&M and Dunnes at the moment.

Dresses are great over opaque tights.

If you shop online, most shops have a 'workwear' section.

I got mails from both Dunnes and Marks yesterday with workwear ideas.

Check instagram. A couple of the teacher pages I follow have done a rundown of bits to wear to work. Irish primary teacher had some. Two broke divas had a takeover on mash.id last week too. Sinead from the beautiful truth also has a new blogpost. As much as I love Sinead I couldn’t cope with her bits because the thoughts of wearing heels to work makes me want to vomit! But each to their own, I just love comfort!
