All baking for tonight filled, piped, finished and delivered :)

Having a light lunch, salad and a roll, I made up a load of devilled eggs this morning, I've swiped a couple for my salad, I'd forgotten how tasty they are. :)

Cappuccino and coffee eclair (also swiped) for afters. :pac:

A massive plate of freshly picked field mushrooms fried in pleny of butter, with a bit of parsley and salt thrown on at the end. Thick slice of batch bread on the side. Delicious.

Had a lovely beef casserole with mash and sugar snaps.

Now having a Yorkie Pro bar with crispy pieces and if there is a tastier way to eat 10.5 grams of protein I need to know.

A well earned beer within two minutes of getting in the door. I had a massive Angus beef burger packed with bacon, cheese and onion rings earlier with chips. I nearly got lock jaw trying to get my gob around it even after cutting it in two. Some German tourists next to me couldn't stop looking.:D

Anyway that was hours ago. I brought home a Thai Green Chicken curry and noodles for the late night munchies and beer party for one.:(

We had a last minute night out. So last minute we didn't have a table booked anywhere and ended up in a little French style restaurant that I had never heard of. It was fab. You know when you go somewhere with friendly chatty service, simple menu that's really well done, a buzzy but not too loud atmosphere. I'm now full and happy.

French mushroom soup, served with 2 mini loafs, Mr W had pork belly with black pudding.
Mains I had a goats cheese salad, it had the cheese served in a few different ways, breaded, roasted (!), as a mousse. Mr W had an authentic beef bourguignon. All served with sautéed courgette, peppers, onion, tomato and roast potatoes.
Then "I" had the soufflé, not helped at all, nope, all eaten by me, nobody else tucked in. Nope.

    Bottle of white wine.

Had 2 of the Delux barbecue sausages from Lidl, 2 rashers, 2 fried eggs, 1 hash brown, 1 black pudding, a few multi coloured mini tomatoes, mushrooms and toast with plenty of tea.

I love the Sunday's, bit of fishing next, then a few pints of Guinness and then the final of the greatest game in the world to be savored at home before a roast lamb dinner.
