I'd love to listen to this but I find the 3 presenters again to be disrespectful to the content they present and it really takes away from the subject.

Just listening to Alan Alda's 'Clear and Vivid' on the way home today and heard the news he has Parkinson's.

Episode was good, an interview with Judge Judy. About half way through the next one with Itzhak Perlman, good back and forth between the two around music and acting.

Just finished season 2 of In The Dark. Its Serial basically, so if you like that type of podcast you'll be interested in that.

Listening to season 2 of Archive 81, and interesting little horror podcast.

Sad to hear they are calling it a day, they were one of the first podcasts i listened to. But i think they are right, they had gone stale, their format never really evolved and it was all same same.

Some of their recent episodes were reaaaallllllllllly dragged out. Not to mention some of their topics were really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Currently listening to Inside Jaws, a must for any film fan.

It's the third in the series after Inside Psycho and Inside The Exorcist and goes into detail of the making of the films and all the inside scoop about the people involved.

They announced that they will release a few short episodes before they finally finish but I'm not expecting much.

Yes, you're right - and while the developments about the other teachers is worthy, it makes for grim listening. Are we going to hear what Chris is up to? Or broadly what his life was like after Joanne left him in 1990 or so?

In a nut shell... sleep is very, very (like, really) important. Well worth a listen.

I've never watched or listened to a full JRE. That one is on my list.

I'm 2/3 the way of Matthew Walker's book on sleep. It's a little alarming that it's linked to almost everything - Alzheimer's, obesity and more. Chronic sleep heightens injury risk in sports too and knocks back performance. Oh and older folk needing less sleep, utter bollocks.

I've been listening to the 80 Days Podcast, hosted by 3 Irish guys who pick an obscure country or territory each episode and focus on it's history and culture.The episodes on Nauru, Easter Island and Newfoundland were ones I found particularly interesting.Worth a listen.

Today I listened to first 2 eps of Slate's Slow Burn: the Monica Lewinsky story. So interesting - I remember the scandal so well, and how badly she was treated - in retrospect she was one of the few who acted with any integrity at all throughout the entire drama. It goes into the administration of the time, how the Clintons made it out of Arkansas, how Bill promised his known philandering wouldn't be an issue etc. etc.

Season 1 is about Nixon and Watergate - just started it. Good so far.
