Hi, coolshadow. I'm about to send my application form and researching about the 6 weeks period to return the passport. Did you get your passport back? How long did it take?

My passport was back in under a month. I can't remember exactly how long.

    That's great to know seagull.

When did you put it in the mail? A few months ago? I wonder if the time of the year could affect the turnaround time.

It went in at the beginning of May.

The Passport Office has got nothing to do with Irish Citizenship applications.

He needs to contact INIS in Tipperary Town who are virtually impossible to contact.
