So Sanchez hits it off Morgan and then it hits Amartey's hand. Is that 100% a legitimate assist because it hit an opposition player en route?

Well that's what I thought as well. But the pundits are talking about how it's an Amartey handball.

And when you watch it back, Amartey's was certainly the clearcut handball.

Was just about to post this. The penalty is definitely given against Amartey.

I can understand how it would an assist if Sanchez took a shot that was blocked by a hand directly, but a richochet sideways off one defender onto another defenders arm. That can't be an assist, can it?
