Over the last month Google Pay asks me for my pass code intermittently when trying to pay for something. I wouldn't mind if this was once in a blue moon but it's almost daily at this rate, and is a pain in the arse!! Yesterday in fresh I tried to pay for something, then had to stand there put in my passcode and then had to wait a few seconds before I could try again, in the end it wouldn't work until I turned NFC off and on again.

Is this because of google pay or do the bank set this? I'm with KBC.

Do you unlock your phone before attempting to pay for something?
