Have to try to smile, because I'm not at all looking forward to the season. I cannot remember the last time I was less enthused about a new season.

I'm a bit more positive with news that all of our WC players have at least returned to training by now, but it's just been a weird Summer for United.

I think I’d prefer no one to Maguire.

Unfortunately no one is looking the most likely outcome at this stage as the hours pass by.

If no one else is signed I really do think it’s all going to kick off with Jose and Utd.

Ive been thinking about it over the last few days and despite the fact we have had a pretty abysmal window I'm actually looking forward to the season.

We havnt lost anyone of note.

Sanchez has had a good pre season so there can be no excuses for him now. I defended him since he signed but he needs to step up. A man earning 8 million in negotiable bearer bonds a week has nowhere to hide.

Pereira is basically a new signing and Jose name checked him last year. I'm hoping he will prove to be a surprise package and add another dimension.

We have signed Fred in a key position, a player I have not much knowledge of but he seems to be rated.

Dalot I'd not heard of til he joined but by all accounts he is a good prospect.

We comfortably finished second last year and beat the teams around us. It's the "smaller" teams we struggled with. If we don't get top 4 Jose will be out the door unless we were to win the champions league. I want him to succeed but if he gets bounced it will be because he doesn't get the best out of the players he has.

Courtois had a year left on his contract and made a prick move by not returning to training. Chelsea have had there pants pull down by Courtois and his ****ty behaviour. Not a Chelsea fan by any stretch but hope he has a bit of a mare at Real.

Personally I think the team overachieved last season and with what we have we won’t do the same again. We played some amount of utter sh football last season, which couldn’t even be described as boring defensive masterclasses, it was just utterly directionless a lot of the time.

I also think that if no one else comes in, rightly or wrongly, Jose is going to have a major meltdown. It’s not going to end well. I mean his comments last week were damning enough(whether he should be saying them depends on which side of the fence you sit I suppose) but it’s a mess between the board and the management at the moment. It all smacks of incompetence.
