We have received notice of planned works taking place in the datacentre on Saturday, August 11th. It is possible that this will result in errors and disruption from 6am until 8pm. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience.

They are several rumours going around on this site and other sites. One rumour that I can confirm isn't true is that the announcement has nothing to do with the dlisappearance of Shergar in 1983.
