Looks like a poor year for them. What are about are quite dry and lacking any sweetness. We usually pick in excess of ten pounds of them but I'm wondering if it's worth it this year.

    Big fun soon come.

    Keep the faith.

I can have cream in, if I know when you're coming, but I'd need notice early morning. Whipped with sugar, without sugar, or just poured?

Anyone who doesn't go to the bother of whipping cream is ranked right down there with people who put pineapple on pizza in my opinion.

Round them up and ship them off to some isolated rock away from ordinary decent people.

Had a falafel wrap from East/Rocketman for lunch. Very tasty and still full. The zhoug sauce was more herby than hot, so had my bottle of Encona at hand.

Having a rye river beer now.

Awesome stuff tonight from posters. A great vibe here. I kept it simple tonight. Did a recreation of a fave Eddie Rockets dish. Chicken fillet burgers with bacon and cheese fries. Fillets done on the griddle pan, served on baps with mayo, lettuce, tomato and onion. Did some crispy bacon for the fries. Tossed it over them and then threw on an easi single. Decent cheese just doesn't work with it. Its gotta be runny, gooey etc.:D

Made a total pig of myself over the long weekend. Won't be stepping on the scales for a few days :o so lovely strong coffee for now. Have people coming for lunch later, had dinner out last night. All this socialising is doing nothing for my waistline :D

It was a baking day here, so a medley of Apple tart, rhubarb tart, and ice-cream.

I love baking, I cook only because I have to but baking is such a pleasure for me, and you can't beat the aroma all over the house when you're baking! :)

Just had a lovely stew, made too much, will blitz it for soup for tomorrow's lunch.

Magnum Praline for dessert, think I'd prefer the double chocolate one, but will finish it just to make sure I'm not keen on it. :D
