Missing signed parcel

Someone signed for my AnPost parcel a few days ago and I have not received it.
The online record only shows a handwritten first name in capitals, ie MARY - no one by that name is a neighbour.
I've yet to speak to the postman to find out if he remembers who he gave it to.
It was an Express signature parcel.
What should I do? Is there a complaints process in AnPost, and success rate? Anything else?

It may be in An Post and "mary" is the person that sorts out undelivered mail.

I've seen this error being made before and it's caused by a simple miskey.

What time does it give for the signature?

    ~ midday.
Around the time the postman delivers. Hence why I think it was delivered to someone.

Signed for is a total farce when it comes to An Post. My bins can't sign their names.

    Mystery solved.
A woman visiting a neighbour signed for it, hence I did not recognise the name. The neighbour did not know that the parcel was in their house apparently.
Got the parcel in the end.

AnPost customer service took it seriously, even contacted the postman directly there and then whilst I was on hold on phone.

Well hopefully that will teach him not to do that again .

Invariably most postmen think they doing someone a favour if left locally but are actually building trouble for themselves if the item goes missing .

Complain about it then and if he keeps doing it after you have complained then he is an idiot and deserves to be fired
