Any opinions on the above engine in 1.3cdti size as fitted to many Opel and fiat small cars? Do they all have a dpf or is that the higher horsepower. Only?

    Thanks Roy

Depends on how old it is.

Then they may well have one. Relative has a 2011 1.3 CDTI 75 Corsa that has one (and is currently broken) As far as I know it’s very unlikely for an 08-10 Punto to have a DPF (even though it’s the same engine)

In the fiats the 1.3 won't have one but the 1.9s will which are non existent in Ireland.

We had 1.3 in an 06 astra which didn't have it.

Probably should have kept that car as a 2nd car . But hated dealing with Opel garages on minor issues which they wouldn't or couldn't resolve.

Anything new from 2011 onwards would have one as DPFs were mandatory on new diesel cars from then.
