    Yes. Most apartments are sold in that way. You buy a lease, which includes the right to live there, as well as a share in the management company which owns the common areas.

    You can have a long lease for 999 years for example or if you want to be technical you could get a right of residence in a property so that you can live there until you die but it doesn't pass on to your successor

    Yes. Most apartments are sold in that way. You buy a lease, which includes the right to live there, as well as a share in the management company which owns the common areas.

    Management company owns not only common areas, but the whole building, site etc. And you buy part of the management company.
