    is the timing chain on these for life?

    what do you think of them?

    It’s there until it starts rattling. Which would be unusual.

    Nice engine. 107bhp is good for a non turbo. Watch out as there is a U.K. 89bhp version too.

    Yeah it is the 89bhp version. Should I avoid it?

    It’s just slower. If you drive it and it suits you then there’s no problem.
