Small dent in roof, PDR options?

Have a very small indent on the roof, VERY small but enough to irk.
About 60mm in from the top of the B pillar on flat sheet metal.

I don't want any PDR going in from the interior as it would mean removing the headlining, so can these type of small indents be removed from the outside, by pulling the metal?

There is a system where a dent puller can be used from the outside, they stick a tab with glue to the dent and then pull the dent out, but I don't think you can get proper results unless the dent is removed from behind. Best thing is to ring a couple of PDR guys and get their opinion.

The whole idea of PDR is massaging the dent out, the opposite to how the dent was created. You won't pull a dent back out to perfection without some interaction from behind the dent.

To be fair, I doubt it would involve completely removing the roof cloth. Maybe dropping a corner at a worst case and it'd be completely run of the mill stuff for a good PDR operator.

Yes they get rods to the underside of the dent but only need to pull down a tiny bit of roof liner to do that. I hate to see trim coming off but minor detail in this case really.

There's a pdr tool called a hotbox that can remove a ding from the outside without pushing from behind, depending on the size it might suit your repair, afaik dentpro have them so might be worth giving them a shout
