Set in the 1920s yet the train carriages have the CIE snail logo which didn’t come into existence until 1945.

What are we meant to believe this is some magical time travelling train?

    :/

Don't tell anyone, but I've heard a rumour that all the characters in it are actually played by actors.

And worse again, it was 1944 not 1945.

    FYP...
Its so timeless that you managed to quote it incorrectly.
The word "good" is what separates us from the monkeys, who would use any old brittle twigs to thrash their mates.

Disgusting, that line needs to be edited out. What if children heard that?
That type of chauvinistic and sexist treatment of women has no place in modern society. Apalling.

I think we should have a general book burning too. Haven't had a decent one in ages

It's my father's favourite film an when the sainted mother was alive he'd often come through the door saying that!!!

As a joke like!! I also did the bit where the Squire and Sean argue over who was paying for the beer. Did that in a bar in Crookhaven and confused a load of American tourists who thought it was a fight!

One of the best films ever IMHO!

Leitrim, .a.k.a. the real life Wakanda of the West, had trains well before everywhere else and shared the technology briefly with the rest of Ireland before the war when they went into a secret isolation to avoid their technology falling into the wrong hands. they remain in this isolation to this day.

You won't find much about it online as they have the technology to erase it from our primitive internet.

In Finding Nemo, there is a fish that can clearly be heard talking while swimming.

It's not possible to talk clearly whilst underwater.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Shock horror, I suppose you'd lose your life watching old Hollywood films where actresses were regularly slapped across the face by men?

    It's a train, no-one cares.
Probably would have cost too much to repaint just for a movie.

We'll give him something to be shocked about. Women were fairly handy with their hands as well.

TBH Dory manages it and she's a bit, well challenged!
