    Hi guys,

I'm playing with the idea of buying a vacuum cleaner for cleaning car upholstery/carpets.

Doesn't need to be anything expensive or super "professional', just want it as a "nice to have".

I have done a bit of googling but there doesn't seem to be many cheap options out there.

best I could find was this...

SIP 20ltr 1400w Valeting Machine Kit

Is there anything else on the market that would be cheaper / worth considering?

I got a vax 6131T last year from amazon for about €80 which is an absolute bargain. It did a fantastic job on my car which has light grey carpets.
It's in argos for €170 but the best price when I was buying was on amazon

Thanks. They are €159 in powercity!

Will check it out but wondering if there’s anything else even cheaper? ... or would that just be regular vacuum cleaner territory?

I know I have an SIP air compressor and hose reel and find this good and parts are available and the customer services is very good, a few emails and a phone call had me the part I wanted.

I use hot water in my numatic ct370 with generic no foam famric detergent and get great results.

    My process
Pre-spray with the solution from the machine
    Dwell 3/5 min
Agitate, drill/brush (loving this setup, saves my shoulder blades)
Then simply use the machine to finish up (spray/suck)

The level of dirt will dictate the about I wet the fabric.

I use the vehicles HVAC to dry the interior after.
