DOE Fail - Steering linkage condition (idler assy, Track rod/steering arm)

Camper van had a few issues on the DOE on friday.  One I am struggling to fully understand what they are referring to is

(c) Joint worn beyond manufacturers limit
What joint exactly would it be referring to? At first i thought it was the track rod end, but this seems to be listed separately in the fails list in the testing document

a). Relative movement between components which should be fixed. 
(b). Excessive movement or components are likely to become detached. 
(c). Joint worn beyond manufacturer’s limit. 
(d). Joint so excessively worn and likely to become detached. 
(e). A drop arm/drag link is damaged or insecure. 
(f). A drag link or the track rod ends are obviously worn or insecure (inner and outer). 
(g). Dust covers/gaiter split, damaged, missing or severely deteriorated/displaced. 
(h). Idler assembly mounting is obviously loose, or axial or radial play is present in the assembly. 
(i). Fractures or deformation of any component. 
(j). Fractures or deformation of any component that f unction is affected. 
(k). Track rod/steering arm is obviously deformed, loose or cracked. 
(l). A retaining or locking device (split pin, nut, rivet, weld, etc.) is missing, insecure, worn or broken. 
(m).Misalignment of components (e.g. track rod or drag link). 
(n). Any obviously unsafe repair or modification to any steering component. 
(o). Any steering modification affecting steering function. (p). N/A (q). N/A (r). Any component obviously worn beyond manufacturers limit.
