I'm surprised Jose hasn't seen the need to bring in some backup.

Or Centre backs, or full backs. Or wingers.

It's actually amazing how many times Sanchez loses the ball, even against such a bad MLS team.

Telegraph, Guardian, Times all reported that we have ended interest in signing a left back as Jose thinks Dalot can cover both flanks and are in for Maguire.

Telegraph and Guardian almost worded it same too.

He's just not a great striker. His biggest strength is getting the ball to his feet and running at defenses, and he doesn't get the space or positioning to do that as a striker.

This. He's most likely best playing as a 10, I don't mean in the playmaker role but in that area of the pitch where he's central. Not a hope of him getting time there with us.

Poor first half. Sickened if, as it looks, this Maguire business is a blanket press briefing and serious.

And with that United confirm all they care about is 4th place.

No ambition in this club anymore. The owners don't care. Mourinho doesn't care. Woodward doesn't care. None of them are actually interested in turning United into champions. Get top 4 and do the least amount possible to repeat it the following season.

Looking at the Journalists who are breaking the Maguire news, really don’t think it’s coming from our side, none of the usual reliables are the ones reporting it. Possibly coming from Maguire’s side or Leicester side.. only one who is a United correspondent is Jamie Jackson and he hasn’t had a source since the Moyes days

He’s been on the ball more than most and has looked the most threatening.

His attitude alone could teach the young pretenders in the club a thing or two about being a footballer.

Dead right. If he had options around him he would have somewhere to pass.

Darmian finally shaved those horrible sideburns

Anyway this is pre season. I wouldn’t be losing my shabout the performance or ruling players into the first team based on games like this.

    Grant is some talker!

Pereira has been impressive in preseason for the last 3/4 years now. Really really hope to see him make a breakthrough this season.

    Ferdinand Vidic
    Bruce Pallister
    Stam Johnsen

    Maguire Smalling

    Disaster.

Really liking Andreas P. He's a shining light in the otherwise dark tunnel of our pre-season

SJE more interested in fouling than playing the game

Thought he was as good last summer but didn't stick around.

It just moved from his stomach to his arse. :pac::pac:

In all seriousness though, if your praising a professional athlete for losing weight then the athlete is doing something wrong to begin with.
