Was slightly productive though, booked a girly weekend away for my birthday. Athlone better be ready cos we’re going to paint it a slightly darker shade of beige.

Back from the grocery shopping. Everywhere is very quiet, with little or nobody in the supermarket, butchers, or greengrocers. Bakery was busy but that's the tea break crowd.

Going to have coffee inside for the first time in months and finish off an excellent history book.

So today is a better day.

Just home from a meeting with a guy who is giving me a 6 month, possibly extended to a year, contract to work on a project here. Finally some stability again.

Also my friend with cancer got out of hospital and was thrilled with the wee parcel of goodies I sent her from Bali - especially the decorative wooden penis shaped bottle opener. Knew she would love a usual dick.

Sitting on my sofa looking at my favourite view of the sparkly gorgeous towers and the vibrant city I love while trying to decide what to eat with some fresh baked sourdough bread.

Life is a little better. Happy Friday folks.

Survived 3 hours in the company of my ex with very few smart comments uttered by me...lunch with our teen for the birthday,presents bought .I didn't even comment when he thought the stunner in the sports shop was chatting him up..how fcuking sad like..I must be growing up at last..ðŸ˜‚

Been along the lane to see the heat damage to the precious wild fruit.

As I was closing the gate, Jacob-cat rolled home with Stinkertom in tow. Jacob has no sense. ,... dog hates Stinkertom so there was chaos...Honestly dog would beat every greyhound in the land if the lure to chase was Stinkertom! off they went, dog chasing cat... Still, good exercise for dog...

so the day nears end for me.. Have a lovely evening..
