I still much prefer red top, white shorts, black socks. Cant remember last time our home kit didnt have white shorts??

Speckle of games of course where we alternated the kit to have dark shorts but in terms of having black shorts as our main shorts I fail to remember any time.

If there is one where they were the main shorts, and not just alternative for a couple of games then it was well before my time I think.

If there just rumours fine but if its true **** him good ridddance.

Don't want another season of him prancing around dancing and doing everything but actually turning up for the team.

Word out of Italy that Darmian to Juventus is a done deal. No mention of Sandro to United as part of any deal.

    Here we go again!

Pogba is easy if he genuinely loves the club and want a to stay all's good if he doesn't well sell him him his stock is high after the world cup maximum price for him it's easy.

Saying that I believe the Italian stories are just over excitement they think they can have the world now because they got Ronaldo, pogba has nothing left to achieve by going back to juventus only European cup and if he wanted that he be better off in Spain.

I know Blind and Darmian were used sparingly last season, but surely we aren't losing two fullbacks and only bringing in Dalot? We needed to replace the first team players at full back, never mind selling off the backups and doing little!

So pessimistic for this coming season - havent done, or look like doing, the work needed to make it a title level squad. And Jose couldn't have looked any less enthused or motivated for the coming season in the press conference yesterday. Defeatist manner and speech - he's already given up.

Manchester United have offered Trabzonspor £11.6m for Yusuf Yazıcı. Trabzonspor president Ahmet Ağaoğlu refused the offer and told United they would have to return next summer for the Turkey international. (t24.com.tr)

He looks like going out on loan again to Spain.

I reckon that will depend on incomings. If we get replacements in for Darmian/Blind he can still go to Spain after the English window closes.

Turkish press seem to have a habit of linking us to Turkish based players every transfer window, yet I don't recall ever signing any of them.

Just thinking about the new FA transfer window dates - It closes on August 9th this year instead of August 31st.

English clubs can still sell or loan players after this date, but we've got 3 weeks left to get any new signings in.

Crazy that English clubs argeed to it(Think United voted against it)

I think Jose has been told he has to make do.

    Yup.

    Its not looking pretty, imo.

I can see a lot of clubs starting to panic soon. The new window is such a stupid idea - and I can see european teams taking advantage. They can somewhat afford to drag sales out as they will still be able to sell to Spain, Germany, Italy, France etc after the English window closes - so the closer we get to August 9th the harder they are going to squeeze.

Then once we hit august 10th, we could see some real issues crop up if a big Eurpoean side decided they want to test the waters on a star player in England. Sure, the club may not want to sell and may not sell - but I can see a lot of disruption caused by speculation occuring, which was one of the reasons for the new window, to stop that.

When the PL knew europe weren't going to copy them, they should have sunk the idea then and there. Changing the window so dramatically, in isolation, was stupid.

I think Jose has been told he has to make do.

I don't think that is the case.

I think it is more likely that United are finding themselves incapable of signing the players they want, for any number of reasons, rather than United not wanting to sign anyone.
