Do you think rashford will be a better player next season if he plays a bit part role at united or a full season of first team football on loan?

I think he will be a much better player at utd where he has already proven himself

It’s a legal move if all outfield players are off the pitch celebrating.. one outfield player has to stay in the field of play, there was an instance in the group stages I think showing Portugal I think telling fonte to stay on the pitch :D

There was an instance of Portugal doing that but I don't think such a rule actually exists.

Apparently not a rule at all

He needs game time which he's unlikely to get at Utd at the moment and his finishing needs serious work.

Does make you wonder if that guy on Reddit did have some sort of inside line, and maybe we were in for him and he change his mind. Again.

There's a "new insider" on RedDevils now. Called the exact time of the Dalot announcement, called the day of Grant's arrival and confirmed the Koehler sponsorship last week too.

Says there's a big deal nearly done too, but it's been kept quite and only a few people know bout it. To the extend if he named the player, he'd blow away his source, such is the secrecy round the deal. So now all eyes turns to that guys Reddit posts :P

Edit. The cheeky bugger is now saying there's "more than one" deal like it too...

This type thing is so hard to buy into.

We buy Bale and Madrid end up with Hazard and Neymar?

Slim pickings, beggars can't be choosers, etc

Actually, MEN are back to "Bale to United" stories now, presumably since England in the WC won't generate clicks anymore...

A deal "nearly done".... careful using them words around here

    :)

To be fair you used the expression "done deal" which to me would mean the deal is 100% complete. "Nearly done" would suggest that there is a deal well under way, there is a difference. When you said it you were talking about Sandro, there's still speculation but still nothing to suggest that its a "done deal" or even nearly done. It could well be, and it could be this secret big deal thats being alluded to, but anything open to the general public wouldn't suggest this really.

agh lads every summer we buy into this Bull of some clown on reddit/twitter/tinder/facebook (choose your news source of choice) about "done deals" and almost done deals... every summer there's supposed "key days" when #thingswillbeannounced. These key days come and go and everyone gets knickers in a twist about because it's past the deadline and nothing has happened....

There's a reason these guys on Reddit are anonymous... they don't have a clue and are just speculating and you're raising their profile and your own hopes artificially because of it..

The bolded bit is key... afraid of his life to put his balls on the line... for fear he'#ll blow his "alleged" source... christ these things are beyond ridiclous..

Don't do it to yourselves folks... some random punter on Reddit know no more than you or I...

He sounds like a dodgy character Stu... as Dunphy would likely call him a bluffer, a spoofer and a spiv ;)

Their greatest ever side Giggs would be in it and he'd be in Reebok boots.

He has proven himself to be a decent squad player. He has shown nothing to deserve to be a starter and he never will by sitting on the bench.

How is sitting on the bench at united going to make him a better player then playing first team football.

He has raw talent but his decision making and finishing is average and it won't change by sitting on the bench.

He played 52 times last season and scored 13 goals. You are making out like he is getting no game time.

Loan to Everton, Burnley or the like would be best for him. Get a full season in and, as you said, hope his decision making and finishing improve.

Also those teams can use him against United's rivals and can't when they play us, so if he's a success there he's a possible pain to rivals. After his breakthrough i think he's actually gone backwards a bit and because he's very young that needs to be sorted now by getting him game time and see if he progresses.

Well publicised that both he and Martial got less time after Alexis arrived.

Less game time yes, but still got plenty of games.

Anyway, if he is sent on loan, i will eat a hat

    Dunphy knows nothing brinty.

    Anyway...

Reddit is great for sorting articles and tweets from the shíte. Their tier system is quite useful. For example, club photographer Craig Norwood is 'Tier 1' and for good reason. When he follows a player on social media, they are generally announced by the club in the following days. Likewise, someone like Simon Stone would be Tier 1.

    Then...

You get these other guys every once in a while who bet the house on some inside info they have. These aren't 'Tier' anything, just posters with a Reddit account who swear by their information. Most recently, there was the now notorious Griezmann/Kohler episode on Reddit and that turned out to be a complete waste of everyone's time.

Yes, Regular Joes can come into some valuable 'inside' information just through their jobs. For example, the piano hire company in Manchester for Alexis' unveiling. However, in most cases they aren't posting about it on Reddit.

So I couldn't care what some anonymous Redditor has to say about a 'big deal' soon to be announced. If there is that big of a deal in the pipeline, it will be trickling down to us from the likes of Simon Stone or Gianluca DiMarzio soon enough. When it comes from them, and not u/isharkedurmom, then I'm interested.

Ah, fair enough then. They does suggest a different meaning. There is still not much to suggest that it's that close though, in my opinion.

Don't toy with my emotions. I would love it if we signed Bale, but with Ronaldo gone he probably will be convinced to stay, unless Madrid bring in some more superstars.

If Real sign Hazard I could see them using Asensio as the right winger.

    Bale On

Could Barca’s interest in Willian suggest Dembele moving on already? Or am I reading too much into this?

Talks that they want to use dembele and cash to get a player (can't remember if it was salah, mbappe etc.)

Paulinho has left to go back on loan to same club in china that they signed him from.

Id say barca just looking to add some quality to the squad. Cant see dembele leave

Also rumoured they want Neymar, Hazard, Salah and Mbappe.. so bale would certainly be surplus to requirements and would fund such a move

They could also use Isco and Ascensio more prominently

Possibly reading too much into it

A certain AG could still end up there despite new contracts being agreed at Atleti...
