Nct question, windscreen crack

I have my car booked in for NCt and too late to cancel. I got a crack on my windscreen today and wont have time to get repaired before NCT. Just wondering will that be an automatic fail ?

Depends where it is but it’s a visual (free) retest so do the test, pass except for the windscreen, auto glass , free retest - nct cert

As said, if it fails it will be a free visual check after screen is fixed.

I had a 4 inch crack running along the bottom of the screen, where the wiper sits, was called back for a visual on that
