Good luck lads...forget about bans, I couldn’t be bothered posting here again. It is not the place for decent debate and banter.

Dont go!! Was having fun not in the click. Come backkķk

    Good luck.

It would be if you didn't simply attack and demean absolutely everyone on the thread every time you post but sure.... Its everyone else's fault.

That sounds like a fan of a different club.......

Meh, I take regular breaks from the thread, you should try it too. I've gone against the grain on a lot of occasions, the trick is to not insult every person who responds to you. Then you get decent debate and banter.

How you think calling people yahoos etc is going to add to debate is beyond me. You reap what you sow

When I come here, I see people who are fans of United. People get along mostly and sometimes there is disagreements. That is life, most can accept others having a different opinion, but this is a sport and I don't think anyone has to be wed to an opinion for it to become a huge point of contention, that it becomes an issue.
I don't think there are cliques here, some people are closer to other people, but it is how life is as some people just blend in well with certain other people and they enjoy the company. It is not a clique to exclude people. I remember when I started posting here, there was no issues and people were friendly then and they still are. I might not post a lot like before, but I always read the MU thread.
People accept one for who they are, once they are not looking to rub people up the wrong way. If one does rub someone up the wrong way, they could see it and realise they better stop rubbing to avoid problems, but if it continues, they only have themselves to blame.
We have a good community here and that is what matters.

oh and don't shoot me :D the chatter of the Sanchez to number 10 has been going around especially on social media but I don't know where they come from. It is just a persistent rumour.

Bring back zerks and make him mod, people would think they'd gotten away with stuff only to be banned a few days after the fact. Is re-ban even a thing ala a repost?? :)

Not going to allude he is an site banned re-reg or whatnot, but that account was set up in December and he just said there last night/this morning that he has been a member for years. So he could be a genuine re-reg that hasn’t broke the rules anyways..

I do think we should we should move on now as it’s a risk of yellow cards as if he is banned he can’t reply.

So in a hope of moving on, since there is **** all to talk about United wise at the mo( since I answered all of Mitch’s questions :D ) here’s the latest on Ronaldo.. first it was Saturday, nothing happened, now it’s Tuesday.

“I’m never going back to that pub again after what the barman said to me”

“What did he say to you?”

    “You’re barred”

There is 4 places reporting that.. the Metro, the Express, the star and the mirror..who are all linking to tuttomercatoweb who have an article that’s about 10 lines long with absolutely no details just saying that we are preparing a bid for €40m.

I know whether I’ll be taking it seriously anyways :D

Hoping we don't go chasing Willian now Brazil are out. Thought Douglas Costa looked a lot better from the small role he played and we've obviously missed the boat there.

According to Spanish press Barcelona are after him. Stupid money being asked by Chelsea. €80 million.

Wonder what Madrid would charge us to get Ronaldo back? 200 million?

Costa is a 28 year old winger that hasn't lit the world on fire at the big clubs he has been at.

I'm not sure why anybody would want him to solve our right wing issues. May as well bring Nani back

The 100m they are getting from juve is great business for them. Even though ronaldo is the best player in the world he is still 33. Juve will get nothing when ronaldo either retires or moves to another club

Boards.ie Manchester United forum in microcosm...if you go against the grain, banned. If you have a brain, banned. If you criticise Manchester United, banned. A pack of yahoos who save up to visit Old Trafford once a year and who cheerlead the club regardless of what happens...madness

I've been openly critical of some aspects of Utd over the last season or two. I don't like the manager, couldn't stand him at Chelsea so why would I like him now. Was a bit sceptical of Sanchez, still am. Get the feeling he could be someone we're stuck with on massive wages who by the nature of his stature and wages will mean he'll more often than not start games and impede players coming through e.g. Martial and Rashford. Don't like the way we set up and have been fairly critical of Pogba at various stages of the season. Doesn't mean everyone else are cliques and yahoos who don't agree with me.

Probably wouldn't be too disappointed if we got Lozano in but we had that chance two year ago I think wasn't it.

I remember we discussing it in here and hadn't heard of him much he was originally ment to be signed for us a center forward but did really well in Holland as a right winger.

    Still an excellent age.

Can't remember United ever buying a player from Real Madrid? Wonder do they hold a grudge over the whole De Gea transfer now as well?

Florentino Perez is an extremely petty man so I'd be fairly confident they'd charge United a lot more than Juve alright.

You could say the same about Willian.

All I'm saying is he had a better world cup with probably half the playing time. Not going to be too excited if we start negotiating with Chelsea this week with an opening bid of £60m as is suggested.

Wouldn't mind Willian at all. There's others I'd rather (Bale) but if it was Willian, I'd be more than content. A player who knows the league, knows the manager (and preformed very well for him when Jose won the league) and has a decent work rate, and in a position that we are more than lacking in.

I'd imagine he'd be Matic again; not the sexiest singning, not the shines new toy every spoiled kid wants, but if he slots into the puzzle as efficiently as Matic did, no one would be complaining this time next year.

There's a reason thT Barca are the other team interested in him too, even if they want him more as a back up. I think he would drastically improve our squad though.
