TBF, I'd watch Operation Transformation if Laura was standing in for that heifer from Carlow

    It’s so utterly deplaurable

I wouldn't care if she stood in, but I'd love it if she bent over.

Would you believe that four years ago an American Operation Transformation was planned? Had it gone ahead it would have made millions for RTÉ.

To be fair to Kathryn Thomas, she's done it every single year eight years in a row and had a baby recently... so I kind of agree that a change of presenter even for just one series would be nice.

A question not directly related to Laura: who was the last Irish broadcaster to have sizeable success in the US?

    Random fact:
Until Dancing with the Stars Ireland the only bit of domestic programming she'd ever done was Ireland AM on TV3 (soon to be Virgin Media One).

James Corden is famous over there, that talentless camelwanking dickbag, so anything is possible.

If Laura fails to break America, do you think she will move back to Ireland instead? Would be great if she did.

That awkward moment when you're too famous for Ireland but not good enough to break the US :-(

So now you're not only making up hypothetical scenarios for LW in your mind, you're making up hypothetical scenarios in your mind for when your initial hypothetical scenarios fail.

You're a sick man Mikey, you need help.

Don't be so harsh on me. I'm only making a suggestion.

You keep going around in circles.

What will she do if she returns to Ireland? I don't even know what she does now in the UK.

If she got the lunch time show on today fm like you so vociferously campaign for it would be the exact same celebrity nonsense that you're getting with Muireann.

Exactly, I'll never know how he made it over there.

Is this some kind of social media ploy? I mean 'hey Mikey Laura, you got several mentions online today, most of them were from you Mikey, but still'?

I suppose with dull Irish instagram celebs who look like horses and I dunno, Vogue or something, there is room for and Expose segment about whether your wan what use to be on MTV years ago might break 'merica...or maybe not.

Leftist, pretty much all of them are. Follow the propaganda and you are in the club.

    1. I hate social media.
    2. I think Laura should shadow someone like Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O'Brien etc to get US audiences to know her, and after a while she might get her own show Stateside. Wouldn't that be fun? Maybe Jimmy K/Jimmy F/James Corden gets a week off and LW fills in in their absence. Maybe she and Iain Stirling should do a skit on SNL. Also, Laura is still with MTV, just not as often as she used to be.

    Probably where you're fantasy booking this nobody to replace some of the biggest stars over there, see here;

Would you crowbar the legs off them so Laura gets a shot?

I'd start by having her shadowing them and if she proves popular, get her to fill in more regularly.
