If Juve are serious about Ronaldo, gives us a very good chance at getting Mandzukic and Sandro if we are in fact interested.

Sam Johnstone going to West Brom for 6.5 million is not bad going. Always looked a good keeper but is way down the pecking order. Nice to see us getting a decent few quid for him.

Mourinho supposedly looking for back-up option for Lukaku, makes sense if it could be done. Martial might be gone and Rashford doesn't look like he'll turn into a prolific striker anytime soon.

Maybe he wont make a prolific striker but he is def one of the most exciting wide forward players in the league and still getting better

There is bonus included and the fee could end up being 10m apparently, I’d say we have included a sell on clause too..

Just another point is the club always seems to develop some decent PL level goalkeepers from the underage set up..

Pereira is the latest, we have Henderson too who if he stays on track the signs are he will become very good. Jonestone & Heaton.

Even when we buy them young the seem to go on to have decent careers like Foster.

We all know what happened when brought in DeGea :D

A swap deal with Mandzukic for Darmian could be on the cards.

Inter want Darmian too.. seems he hasn’t really lost any of his appeal in Italy even though he went stale with us, he’s still highly rated there.

Seen this last night. Such an intelligent run without actually touching the ball.

That's probably the main reason they got the goal :D

He is a solid right back. Just doesnt offer anything going foward

Yeah, hopefully Dalot replaces Valencia soon enough, and proves to be a good footballer.

Really hope we switch to a 4-3-2-1 formation this season. Will get the best out of sanchez lukaku rashford and lingard when they play

Unless there is a huge upgrade to full backs then it won't work.
Sandro would be a good start and I suppose we can hope Dalot is ready to step up soon.

Yep full backs are the key. Sandro looks a done deal

He's far better at crossing than Valencia anyway. I'd even argue if played on the right he'd get to the byline more. His weakness is as an athlete I think he finds it tough to match up with pacy wingers.

Woodward gets his fair share of insults and doubters in here but credit when credit is due.
Yet again he has shown his ability to get the signings done quickly. Reaction time has been impressive, and proves himself again.

Bringing in Lee Grant on the Tuesday after DDG showing signs of being done on the Sunday is such a response.
Finally we are a bit more secure at the back.

    No it doesn't.

there is very little to indicate that it looks to be a done deal.

ONE source saying we have agreed a deal with him (same source saying we weren't interested in him at all a couple of weeks ago), which also states we have not agreed a fee with Juve - which is a HUGE step away from being a 'done deal'.
