Tyre air pressure - hot weather

I have noticed an increase of 5 psi in almost all 4 tyres.
Recommded air for my car is 36 psi, but in this weather it has gone up to 42 psi. The car was bouncy also.

Do we need to reduce it down in summers?

Also i am wondering if one recommended tyre pressure is for warm tyres or cold tyres?

    How are you checking?

You need to check when tyres are cool so not after driving as road temp is high.

I am checking it using tyre sensors on the dashboard.

So the recommended 36 psi should be there on cold tyres?

Realistically your tyres will get way hotter from an hour's motorway driving than they ever could from direct sunlight.

The "bouncy" you're experiencing is more likely the softer roads.

I wouldn't put much faith in the pressure sensors in the wheels.
They could be wildly inaccurate for all we know.
