Ye I'm guessing the Earl stuff was all added to the end to link it into this season.

They need to show that Atlas has been around for a very long time and that they are to be reckoned with together with the fact that everyone has a connection with them, could work especially as they are in essence starting with a blank slate in relation to "bad guys"

Great start to the official new season.... brand new colourful crew of bad guys to die over the next 10 episodes. :)

That was the fastest episode I've experienced in a long time, excellent episode. Just expected it to keep going. Really set it up well, so fair dues n that

Great episode, great setup and detective work, bit of a convience that Swagger is probably up against the son of the guy who killed his father but we'll forgive them.

    Good episode.

What job did Bob Lee do before he went off chasing cases.
Cattle range & Dept of Agriculture (or so called official), empty prison so far and a sniper to find (my guess so far either Sam Vincent or Rick Culp)

Great choice having Gerald McRaney as the big bad guy.

Nice Simon & Simon nod to him as well :)

And the f-word is a no go.

TV rule #583 - the helpful guy you visit always dies.

Good that they keep things uncomfortable between Memphis and Johnson. Like that they film car scenes, even if not real, outside.

Harris - man of mystery. :pac:

It's 1 of the best shows on TV at the moment, great cast and a storyline that's not just by the numbers, saying that I think I'll start skipping the "previously on" sections, forgot how much of a spoiler they are.

I agree 100% with the previously on being a spoiler. And not just for this show.

The skip is a great feature on Netflix but I don't trust it completely - it has overshot the play point a few times.

I have only seen Shooter Season 1 so far. I found the censoring of the profanity to be very annoying and invasive.

Does it still happen in the show now?

I have asked this before but hoping since then that Netflix have replaced the episodes with uncut ones.

EDIT: I was just googling the issue and have found various result about Netflix censoring movies and TV shows (Breaking Bad). These results are a few years old and I watched Breaking Bad and it wasn't censored. Is this just something they used to do or does it still happen. I've never seen anything censored on Netflix except Shooter (which isn't actually Netflix doing that, they are just being given the the version aired in the US - assuming that it still shows those ones)

Nah it's still a network show so no profanity aired.

Good episode again this week, keeps it ticking by at a good pace with a new angle that I hadn't expected.

Yes I know the profanity is cut in the US but I meant are Netflix still uploading the censored episodes.

Netflix are not bound by the same rules and the uncensored episodes are just as easy to upload.

Why is there swearing in it anyway if they knew it would just censored - and so badly at that?

Is that in response to my post or something in the show?

Bob Lee used a shovel to sort someone out in the most recent ep.

I don't recall any profanity anyway, I just assume if it's network show there's none, and that's what Netflix use.

There is quite a lot of profanity in season one, even the phrase "mother****er" is used more than once.

I don't know how you could miss it with the hatchet job they did in censoring it.:P

I can only live in hope that Issac meets a grisly and brutal end.

Some amount of entertainment in this, really enjoyed this week's episode

More action packed fun, getting close to an end though. Poor Sam!

    Odd ad/mention of Supermacs too

Don't remember that, but surely it's supermax (like prison?)

Fun episode though - although I wasn't crazy about the resolution to Nadine's 'kidnapping'. Why knock her out and put her in a boot in the first place?

Went a bit 'In The Line of Fire' there with the plastic gun.

Oh yeah, I loved how resigned that lady was to her fate. Really nice writing (and acting). She was f**ked and she knew it. :o

Have never heard the term so I just went straight to the Irish version!

Assume she was knocked out to build suspense. Was a bit nonsense!

A near 50% drop in viewers this season not surprising it’s cancelled

Frustrating. Have been watching it weekly on Netflix.
