Nomos Orion - Alternatives

Hi guys, looking for a bit of advice from the boardsies collective!

My grail watch for a while now has been the Nomos Orion, I think it's stunning and particularly love the slimline look and gorgeous blue face. Sadly the likelihood of me buying one anytime soon isn't great

Would anyone be able to recommend something similar, preferably around the 5-600 price point? Cheers!

I have one of their 40mm pilot watches and the quality is nice and they were hassle free to deal with.

OP do you want a sub second or is centre seconds ok?

Seiko cocktail time /sarb/presage might scratch the itch for a week while you save, but if I were you I'd get involved on the forums, and buy a used Nomos.

Actually have an original Seiko cocktail time which gets plenty of wrist time!

So although they look great, probably looking for a bit more variety in my collection

Laco have a model called the azur 40, it doesn’t have the sub dial, nor is it in Nomos league obviously, but it is a blue dial Bauhaus style from a very reputable watch maker:

Seagull also have an option, likely to have a bit more of an industrial finish compared to the Laco but a good cheap way to get a sense of what you may actually like on your wrist:

Another without the sub second, without any second in fact, is from Zeno. This one’s quartz, which can be handy, and without the second no-one will know!
