Advice for Indian Business Android Phone

    Hi All, 

    Currently in India for the next two weeks and want some Android phones for both Ireland and Canada (Quebec) 

    Was thinking something from Xiaomi

    I got caught with the bands for 4g and with the last Xiaomi,

    Indian Version

    Indian versions are manufactured and sold in India, they come in an English box with an IN plug power adapter and the Global Stable ROM pre-installed. Indian Redmi phones support significantly less LTE bands than Chinese versions, because only a fraction of those bands are used in India. Resellers who are dealing with Indian versions are extremely hard to come by. Indian versions have a red 'Made in India' sticker on the box.

    So you would be missing Band 20 and possibly others for 4G/LTE use in Europe.


    Edit: - Above mainly applies to Redmi Series of phones, if your looking at more expensive MI phones, some are only made with all the bands included, and don't have Global/Chinese variations.

    Check the reddit wiki linked for which phones have global bands.
