My s6's back button has started ghosting on me - it lights up and backs me out of everything. Have tried rebooting multiple times and clearing the cache. The button is still malfunctioning. Anybody have experience with or a fix for this please?

You have to replace the charging port. The back and multitasking button are part of the port. And to change the port the screen has to be removed. A very difficult job with a high chance of the screen breaking. I used to be a phone repair technician so I have a first hand experience of dealing with that.

Thanks. Is it an expensive job so?

The strange thing is though it kicked up for the past 2 days constantly while on the data connection. I have it on wifi this evening and the back button isn't acting up. Would the charging port still be the problem or is it something to do with the data connection?
