I can't imagine actual votes being blocked somehow. But you never know I guess. Depends on the mods.

"Blocked" would mean powered out by someone to me. Not "void" or "ineligible". "Blocked" has very obvious connotations.

20 odd, people left and only three or four are posting.

Wolves will win through process of default at this rate.

I'd be in agreement with barbara, either we have a village voteblocker role, which we could use via consensus, looking at the lynch results spread, i think we need more consensus, or its an evil role, nothing we can do with that.

but if town advises whose votes to block, we may get to block evil votes. maybe not useful at the moment as we want vote record so we can determine vote analysis later. we should take gabs word on who they voted for and use that instead of the blocked, for analysis reasons. and all blockees in future should say who they were voting for.

    something to churn over.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,294 ✭✭✭Barbara WW

I'd be inclined to think a vote blocker at this point is not a good role.

    Simply from a numbers game.

If it is a good role, it has to be a prime target for the wolves to go after tomorrow though. Letting such things go would be suicide for them, long term. Imagine getting towards the end and noT being able to vote. From a goodies PoV, it would be way overpowered by he end of the game.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,709 ✭✭✭Henry WW

    A vote blocking role?

    That blocked 2 votes?

    This is seriously being considered?

    Ah now, come off it.

    Hello all

So is there 2 teams of wolves in the "The Wrong Uns" and "The East End Wolf Pack"?

Possible prior knowledge of two wolf packs.

    all business.

    Riona WW wrote: »
Should we have a FFA for the bullet and get that over with and then work on FFA for lynch?

Another idea is we don't use the bullet as it has a higher chance of killing a good person than a wolf so the wolfs will most likely want us to use it, we outnumber them heavily atm and we don't have much evidence for a solid target on day 1

organization, good, holster the bullet as a choice, fair, but when given a chance to kill wolves, dont we take it, better to have a 5% chance of hitting bad that 0%, this is same argument as using a no lynch option, i hate no lynch.

    Riona WW wrote: »
Steve will probably shoot me for going against his idea but I don't think naming who we trust is a good idea, its doing the job for the wolfs and if we did pick a wolf in the trust pile it gives them a coast from a few lynches

    I think its too risky

    Please don't shoot me :D

i disagree here, but is is not alligment indictitive, just differing opinions on the merits of forming a town to fight the wolves. I think it is good idea, others don't. :(

I wont post much until around this time of the day but i do keep update, i think ffa is a good option, it wont tell us anything now but its all about what it tells us down the line when we are near the end game, so starting early is beneficial to that cause.

I will have mine up before 7pm

ffa is fine, i think myself i prefer just getting reads on everybody and being transparent in what my views are, then when I am dead and people see i am villager, they can come back to my reads lists and know they were done by a villager.

if everybody was to do this, btw, if we find a wolf, we can determine that we don't trust their reads list and can even try to find clear villagers from who they were hot to lynch.

Eva - Throwing aqualutions around under the guise of rattling cages d0, calls out katie , few posts later katie jokingly says she knows the wolves, eva goes quiet and katie dies the next day (could be done on purpose to cast doubt on eva either)

Ewan - Asking the vig to come out not long after the shooting wasn't very villagery in my eyes

Okay, so that sums up Rhiona posts so far...

The ffa is the only accusations they make, its all mech observations and organization stuff other than that.

the ffa itself is decent enough but why dont you question the people in your ffa and get answers for the behaviour. don't hide behind the ffa mech of having to have reads on three people and then do no other questioning.

I do not see why they would have been Steves target which i was under the impression they were from skimming the day with so little time left in the day, i'll update my notes on riri now.

    Haven't a breeze who I'm voting for

So, it was a policy lynch, lynch the low posters.
Not something i disagree with tbh.

the counter argument is that we could be lynching power roles.
the counter counter role is that the pwer roles would get out of the chaff at the bottom at least.

nothing wolfy in the posts, but not hard against a policy of lynch those not getting involved peek the high posters.

I'll ask you one thing, do you really think a wolf would act the way I have acted today?
the answer to that is no.

    [qoute]Haven't a breeze who I'm voting for[/QUOTE]

the whole idea behind the policy is about ^^^ that.
we dont want somebody who is dodling alone and being a never lynch to have to make a decision to win or lose the game if it comes down to final 3.

Just want to confirm I put in an FFA yesterday which perhaps intentionally but most likely not was not included by those doing up the ffa tallies. I voted as I ffad but will probably vote differently in day two if given more info (don't know if I had enough then) just guessed who the charlatans were.

After a few years away from Walford, it felt strange being back and not even popping in to say hello to his few friends and family left in Albert Square. He knew why he was back, one reason and one reason only. One by one he was going to kill everyone who got the better off him over the years and made him feel like a fool. Nick Cotton was back, better than ever and ready to do some damage. Nick spotted Fiona WW walking down the street and grabbed a plastic bag from his pocket. A quiet death for her! Nick grabbed Fiona dragging her down a laneway, she struggled for breath, really struggled. Coming from behind them came a low growl, Wellard came bounding down the street and latched on to Nicks arm, allowing Fiona time to run free.

At first, skimming over the Nick post and seeing that there was an SK side gave me hope that we perhaps didn't lose a villager in Katie yesterday morning. That maybe she was a member of Team SK. However, reading the above flavour more carefully, I think Nick starts out solo. So we did likely lose a villager in Katie.

The text hints at Nick having friends (conversions?) but initially choosing not to check in on them and going straight for the murderising by himself. IMO, we started out with one SK in Nick but there will have to be conversions to help Team SK. He will check in on those "few friends and family" eventually since they were mentioned.

    No idea really

I know the feeling. You surviving the Nick hit is a potential eye-opener for me, or could be a calming of the nerves.

In a previous game not too long ago, an alpha wolf had a protective vest to survive a one-time SK or village hit. There are other possibilities of course which aren't all bad, but I'm really interested in why you are still here.

    Also, re blocked votes.

Is there a chance the baddies have a power to block two people's votes a night then?

I've seen a case in the past of powers to block 1 vote, but I don't know about 2.

Munch, SK hit, 2 x votes blocked, while the village get a very uncertain lynch and an even more uncertain bullet episode. It seems like the game would be very stacked against the village if the bads got all of that on Day 1.

However, there's still a chance. Something had to block those votes especially since the posters have said that they definitely registered a vote.

Great game so far, but there's almost too many mechanics at play for me to get my vanilla head around. I'm still trying to work out what exactly happened with that gun Gabriel gave to Steve, how it played out, where Grant fits in, all of that :o

Seems we have 2 teams of baddies. I'm not going to read too much into flavor but I'm going to be watching for tasks more vigilantly now be it attempts to get conversions or whatever. Obviously be careful highlighting certain tasks things tho as we also don't know how many roles goodies we have who could be doing some. That said I've been catching up on yesterday's work so far this morning and boards has been showing errors so see ya when I see ya ha

Morning Walford, no boozing last night?

Can those 2 who had blocked votes confirm they voted properly with their code word, and can everyone else confirm they voted within the rules.

The power to block votes is plausible and the wording would sound like it. Did those 2 submit ffas, any ideas why they would have picked them.

But of course they could have just been blocked by the mods if they were submitted wrongly, interesting that the mods emphasised this so much yesterday.

I humbly accept. (football really got me wound up last night)

Ok so back to business. 2 wolf teams seems all but confirmed now. Not sure about the SK but it's the most plausible explanation for the Fiona thing yesterday. Still not sure how she survived.
But we have no idea how many wolves are on the second team and why they didn't get a kill on N0. Were they all sleeper wolves who didn't realise they were evil and only got activated yesterday? Was there a task on D0 that one wolf team won over the others? Are we then expecting 2 kills today at 10am?

While I didn't vote for her I see the need for the Mary vote last night. She was not contributing to the village and with so much ambiguity in this game we need all villagers talking and participating in order to get data we can work on.
