Could anyone recommend a novel about the mob / mafia - preferably one that hasn't been made into a move I'd probably have seen?

Recently read Live By Night and it's sequel; I'm reading one called The Winter of Frankie Machine and really enjoyed them. Recommendations along similar lines would be appreciated!

I read "Gangsters and Goodfellas" by Henry Hill, who Goodfellas was based around.
    I really enjoyed it.
Went into detail about witness protection, how Hollywood execs were bigger gangsters and loads more stuff about his life before during and after when he was involved with the mob.
