Are you asking if the roof is strong enough to support your radio controlled device?

If so the engineer who designed the roof is the one to ask.

It could be quite difficult to track down this Engineer.

The first step is to look for any "Safety Files" retained by the owner/occupier to see do they give as-built loading information or have a title block giving the Engineer's details.

Secondly you could ask the building owner who designed it.

As a last option you could look at the planning file in the local authority for the building - there is no direct reason for that file to have the details of the design engineer but you might get lucky and if not it will have some professional's name on it and you can use their details as a starting point.


N.B. For recent buildings built under the "BCAR" regime this might get easier in future. Probably no use to you though.
